Infantry Automatic Rifleman is a concept adopted and used by the USMC. Light weight, accurate and capable of handling heat associated with the role of Auto-Rifleman. The M27 has become a beloved weapon in the Marine corps arsenal. This is our DI version of that upper.

Our goal was to create a version of the M27 IAR upper that would address issues with the M27, addressing heat and building in the ability to tune the upper for better performance with Suppressors.

We designed our Heat Mitigation System to fit a 16″ Mid-length SOCOM HBar barrel and straight gas tube. Just like our RECCE LMG upper line, the IAR v1’s barrel and gas system is incased with our 6061 Aluminum Heats Sinks and Copper/Nickel Alloy gas tube Heat Sink.

The SOCOM hbar paired with our HMS system is a game changer, in testing we have seen insane numbers of heat reduction. Effectively putting this upper comfortably into the Auto-rifleman role without sacrificing accuracy or reliability of the system.

Equipped with the excellent Riflespeed Gas Controls, this upper is easily tuned for ammo, suppressor choice, buffer weights etc. Extremely capable of adapting to any use you see fit. Duty grade, Rugged, Tool free adjustment, and minimal maintenance required, Riflespeed is the best choice for Adjustable Gas blocks bar none.

*******We accept this upper as a “Backorder” Item. We are a small business and the IAR uppers are “In Production” at this time ( Feb 2023).  We expect to be able to ship the second batch of RECCE IAR v1’s come late April 2023. Some may enter “in-stock” status before that expected date.
