RECCE IAR v2

Infantry Automatic Rifleman is a concept adopted and used by the USMC. Light weight, accurate and capable of handling heat associated with the role of Auto-Rifleman. The M27 has become a beloved weapon in the Marine corps arsenal. This is our piston version of that upper.

Our goal was to create a version of the M27 IAR upper that would address issues with the M27, addressing heat and building in the ability to tune the upper for better performance with Suppressors.

We designed our Heat Mitigation System to fit a 16″ Mid-length SOCOM HBar barrel. Just like our RECCE LMG upper line, the IAR v2’s barrel is incased with our 6061 Aluminum Heats Sinks. The SOCOM hbar paired with our HMS system is a game changer, in testing we have seen insane numbers of heat reduction. Effectively putting this upper comfortably into the Auto-rifleman role without sacrificing accuracy or reliability of the system.

Superlative Arms Short Stroke Gas piston offers customers the ability to push more heat away from the receiver towards our effective heat sink system. Decreasing the amount of carbon that enters the upper. Lots of adjustability, end users can tune their piston system to work with their choice of ammo, buffer weight, suppressor, etc.

RECCE IAR v2’s is a complete upper with the SA Bolt Carrier with Red Right Hand’s OEM Milspec 9310 MPI Bolt, Firing pin and Retainer installed. Includes Lantac’s Domed Cam Pin for reduced upper receiver cam slot wear and smoother operation. Super Charging Handle installed.
